About the Role

As a Vendor Relations Specialist, you'll be the primary point of contact for vendors, ensuring timely payments, resolving billing questions, and maintaining positive working relationships. You will work closely with Accounts Payable, Purchasing, and internal teams to support a smooth procure-to-pay workflow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main contact for vendor inquiries, payment updates, and account questions
  • Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and outstanding balances
  • Coordinate with Accounts Payable to ensure accurate and timely payments
  • Maintain vendor files, contracts, W-9s, and compliance documentation
  • Reconcile vendor statements regularly and resolve any variances
  • Monitor aging reports and follow up proactively on issues
  • Assist with new vendor setup and ensure data accuracy within ERP systems
  • Support process improvements to enhance vendor communication and workflow efficiency

What You Bring

  • Experience in vendor relations, accounts payable, customer service, or a similar role
  • Strong communication skills with a professional, solutions-oriented style
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines
  • High level of accuracy, organization, and follow-through
  • Comfort working with ERP or AP systems and intermediate Excel skills
